TurboCut PRO 1 Flute Upcut (Aluminium & Brass)
All of our TurboCut endmills are sent via Australia post express for speedy replacement
These single flute Upcut endmills have been specifically designed for cutting Aluminium, brass and aluminium composite panels. The large single flute design makes them very efficient at removing swarf and keeping the endmill cool to reduce any chip welding.
Our PRO endmill range are made using high grade tungsten carbide coated a specialized DLC (diamond like coating) designed to out last and out perform conventional uncoated carbide cutters. The coating is designed to reduce wear and tear and dissipate heat leaving your jobs with a crisp clean finish.
These endmills are rated for full commercial and industrial use on a regular basis.

- Auminium Composite panels
Please Note
It is recomended to test these endmills at various feeds and speeds for the best results. Our team have had great success milling aluminium at ~18K RPM at ~600mm/m with excellent results. This is purely indicative though based on the rigidty of your machine.
It is not recommended to use these endmills for wood as it's upcutting profile will leave a rough top surface edge on your timber.
Please be aware that the 8mm variants of these endmills will not fit in an ER11 collet such as those that are standard with a CNC3D QueenBee or QB2 machine. The maximum size cutting bit that will fit in your ER11 collet is 7mm.

I’ve had a go at cutting 3mm aluminium recently using my QB2 machine. I spoke with Joel at CNC3D beforehand who gave me some handy tips. It was very pleasing to see with what ease these bits cut through the aluminium, leaving a very neat and precise finish. Very happy, I look forward to cutting thicker pieces of aluminium.
Ordered two 6mm end mills which arrived in the post in a couple of days. I used the default settings from the CNC3D tool library loaded into Fusion 360 to face 6061 Aluminium 40mm square bar. There was no problems and the finish was good. The machine I'm using is a Queen Bee 2.
