These 2 flute straight cut endmills are designed for milling and engraving materials that tend to splinter such as wood. They are specifically designed to keep swarf in the cutting track without removing it. Using Upcut or downcut endmills on wood will often leave a burred edge on either side of the job. These endmills are designed to stop this from happening.

    Recommended for

    • Wood & timber (MDF, ply, hardwoods)
    • Plastics (ABS, HPDE, Delrin and other softer plastics)

    Please Note

Be careful when cutting or engraving MDF and some particle timber products as they produce a lot of fine dust that can irritate the throat, eyes and lungs. It is recommended to use a dustshoe and suitable dust extraction system when machining these products.

Please be aware that the 8mm variants of these endmills will not fit in an ER11 collet such as those that are standard with a CNC3D QueenBee or QB2 machine. The maximum size cutting bit that will fit in your ER11 collet is 7mm.
