Nighthawk SCRIBE CNC Controller (Prototype SPECIAL!)
**This is a special price for a pre-launch Nighthawk SCRIBE prototype board! This model does NOT include a probe connection. These boards are fully functional and tested. They were part of a batch order for boards to compare quality and consistency of manufacturing. This is a special, limited offer only available while stocks last!
Maximum input voltage is 12V DC Max on this prototype version and is suitable as a serious upgrade for a 3018 CNC or similar and diode laser engravers.
***No drives, fan or enclosure are included with this board. You are welcome to add DRV8825 or TMC2208 drivers.
Meet the Nighthawk SCRIBE CNC controller. The SCRIBE is a low cost alternative to our powerful, Australian made Nighthawk CNC controller and is suitable for DIY applications and small robotic projects.
It has been designed to have all of the cutting edge technoglogy of it's bigger brother including:
- WIFI & Bluetooth connectivity for smooth, noise free operation.
- Powerful web interface for control via Smart phones, tablets or PC.
Access to the premium, extended features of our CNC3D Commander software.
The SCRIBE can be easily retrofitted or setup on smaller CNC routers and CNC laser engravers that have smaller motors, such as a 3018 or 3040 CNC router.
The SCRIBE uses the power of an ESP32 microcontroller that handles all of the smarts. The ESP32 processor is a super fast and reliable 32-bit processor that has more than enough horsepower to easily drive your CNC smoothly and reliably while having some serious technology packed in!
The SCRIBE supports the use of replaceable stepper drivers like the DRV8825 or TMC2208 drives for convenient and simple setup.
To make things as universal as possible, the SCRIBE supports 4 pin JST plugs found on existing diode CNC laser engravers and 3018 CNC routers as well as screw terminal inputs for custom installations.
