      Basic, but versatile.

I purchased this little unit mainly to test how it would do engraving on anodised aluminium.

For the price it really is a great little laser. It worked straight up from my iPhone, using the App.

I had a bit of a journey to get it to work of my MacBook Pro, but got there in the end. It was just a matter of giving the driver specific permissions. The machine will definitely engrave black anodised aluminium. Does and easy job on wood and plastics. Not the fastest, but for the $$ definitely worth it
