This easy to mount plasma probing assembly allows you to accurately set your pierce height start point regardless of how warped your stock material is. It also features a magnetic breakaway system that can be wired to an E-stop trigger to stop a failed job before it can cause massive damage to your plasma torch and stock.
 
The main body is cut from 6060 grade aluminium alloy for excellent corrosion resistance and uses IP66 rated inductive limit switches that are available in either PNP or NPN options. The inductive limit switches have both normally open and normally closed contacts to be as universal for any CNC controller as possible.
 
For the more experienced users to CNC plasma cutting, one of the most difficult things to do is work with warped materials. The purpose of our CNC3D plasma system is to mitigate these issues and give you the best cuts possible.
 
These plasma probing assemblies come mostly assembled requiring only installation and positioning of the inductive limit switches to suit your machine. The limit switches can be mounted on either left or right hand side of the assembly. 
 
PLEASE NOTE: If using this in conjunction with a Nighthawk controller, PNP limit switches will be required. NPN switches are NOT compatible with the Nighthawk. For any controllers, please check your controllers user guide for the expected limit switch type to use.
