CNC 3D Edge finder / Indexing probe

These high quality 3 axis edge finder / indexing probe is the ultimate way to probe your jobs. It operates on all 3 axes (XYZ), being a mechanical probe it is not prone to the typical ground loop issues that inductive probes can have on some machines. 
These probes feature a metal housing and reinforced metal internals for excellent repeatability. 
 
The needles used on these probes are made from tungsten carbide and are of a very high hardness for best results.
 
Calibration and alignment of the needle can be easily adjusted via the 3 grub screws near the base of the body.
 
An built-in LED illuminates when the probe is triggered so it can also be used as a conventional manual probe if needed. This is great for both manual mills and CNC routers. 
 
Designed to work on a variety of CNC machines and controllers that support a probe input. The connection type is NPN and the probe has a wide input voltage range of 6-30VDC.
 
Existing macros for Mach3 or UCCNC can be used OR if you have a GRBL based controller, you can use the handy probing wizard built into our CNC3D Commander software. If using Commander, make sure to adjust your probing offsets to suit the tilt of these probes within CNC3D Commander in the Settings menu found in the Probing wizard.
 
If you are using one of our Nighthawk controllers, you will be required to select the NPN->PNP option as the Nighthawk only accepts PNP type swithes.
